The Songs for Honey & Petra collection is the first release from Four Weeds Records, and features original songs from nine singer-songwriter members of Love is Real: Bright Eyes Community Center. Their intent was to fundraise for an animal shelter, and it was decided that, given the focus of our fan community, a Nebraska shelter would be appropriate. All proceeds go to Big Red Rescue, in Lincoln, NE.

Love is Real Bright Eyes Community Center was founded in 2020, when a group of Bright Eyes fans gathered on Zoom to listen together to the release of Down in the Weeds. This evolved into weekly listening parties, open mics, guest visits, and meetups.
